Opalescence Boost is a 38% hydrogen peroxide gel with a neutral pH for maximum efficiency and safety. After its activation, Opalescence Boost is delivered directly from the syringe. It flows evenly, yet it does not slump. Its distinct red color aids in proper placement and ensures complete removal. Application time is 10 to 20 minutes and it can be repeated up to 4 to 6 times per appointment if necessary.

For single tooth bleaching, OpalDam should be used to protect adjacent teeth. OpalDam is light cured and light-reflecting to keep heat away from the tissues. A few seconds of light curing (10-20 sec) per tooth are sufficient. It is recommended to thoroughly dry the gingiva prior to applying OpalDam. OpalDam is available in two colors: The "classic" OpalDam is whitish-sparkling. This is provided with the kit packages of Opalescence Boost. OpalDam Green is green-sparkling and shows a special contrast to both gingival and teeth. OpalDam is easy to apply, directly out of the syringe. Overlap resin approx. 0.5 mm onto dry enamel to seal. 10-20 sec. per tooth are enough to cure the material. During the bleaching procedure, OpalDam works as a tight seal. At the end of the session, remove OpalDam easily with an explorer.
