Omni-Matrix is a single-use matrix band and retainer. Its internal mechanism is connected to a conical handle for adapting the band circumference to the tooth circumference.

Its internal mechanism is connected to a conical handle for adapting the band circumference to the tooth circumference. As its head swivels, Omni-Matrix fits into every quadrant of the mouth and is always properly oriented. No need for manual band adjustment: OmniMatrix is always ready for use. When fillings are completed, Omni-Matrix is easily released without damaging the restoration. Omni-Matrix is “wingless”, i.e. without cumbersome wings interdentally, for unproblematic wedging. Use Omni-Matrix for major preparations (including those left by earlier amalgam fillings) requiring ring-shaped matrices. Compare the price of Omni-Matrix with the time needed for re-usable matrices - for removing the band from the retainer, disinfecting and cleaning the retainer and the band, smoothing the band, place in the band again.
