P R E PA R E Omni-Matrix Sectional ™ SECTIONAL MATRICES AND RETAINER CLAMPS • One clamp for all shapes and sizes of teeth • Optimal interdental contacts • Unique: Reverse curve matrices conform ideally to any surface Omni-Matrix Sectional is designed for convenient chairside use to achieve anatomically correct interproximal contacts. Four matrices are available. These are precontoured to prevent catching at the proximal margins and conform ideally even to difficult gingival sites. The very thin bands (0.025 mm only) provide tight contacts and easily adapt to the shape of every tooth. The clamp comes in a single shape for all tooth geometries, and is easily placed with any rubber dam forceps. Its tines are curved to match the curved convex tooth surfaces. As several clamps can be placed one after the other overlapping partially, more than one tooth surface or more than one tooth/quadrant can be treated. Don´t place clamps before the matrices are in place AND firmly wedged! Matrices and clamps can be combined with other sectional matrix brands. 1 5 3 2 4 Omni-Matrix Sectional: 1. Clamp, 2. Band Regular, 3. Band Large, 4. Band Regular Extended, 5. Band Large Extended. Curved tines of clamps make for tight interdental contacts. Place clamps with usual rubber dam forceps. Place matrix band first and wedge with interdental wedges. Slip on clamp. For treating more than one preparation in a quadrant, place multiple clamps. CONSTANT RADIUS REVERSE CURVE Many curved matrix bands conform poorly to the tooth anatomy. On teeth with deep preparations they tend to become caught at the lower margin because their constant radius does not follow the shape of the dental neck. Omni-Matrix Sectional Bands Extended are reverse curved and thus conform easily to the surface of the dental neck allowing anatomical restorations without overhangs and undercuts.
