PermaFlo is a light-cured, methacrylate-based flowable composite. PermaFlo is 68% filled with an average particle size of 0.7 μm. Use for anterior and posterior restorations class I, II, III, IV and V, for direct veneers, for luting translucent inlays, onlays and veneers.
R E S T O R AT I V E PermaFlo DC for Luting a Post and Bulding a Core Courtesy of Dr. Dan Fischer Preparation is ready; for etching, the post preparation is filled with Ultra-Etch, using an Endo-Eze Tip. Both the post channel and the surface of the tooth are etched simultaneously. Reaction time is 15 seconds. Ultra-Etch is removed with a 1.2 ml syringe filled with water and an Endo-Eze Tip. To prepare the channel walls, PermaFlo DC Primers are brushed in – first Primer A, then Primer B. The primers are rubbed in with a NaviTip FX (seen here) or a Deliver-Eze Brush Tip. Push the PermaFlo DC from the double barrel syringe into a Skini syringe via a Mixing tip. The preparation can be filled from the bottom up with an Endo-Eze Tip. This prevents air entrapment. Alternative: PermaFlo DC is applied directly out of the double barrel syringe, using an Intraoral Tip on top of the Mixing Tip. The suitable UniCore post is cut to length, extraorally, using a cutting wheel or a carbide bur. The UniCore post does not need a pre-treatment, like silanisation or others. Place it into the composite-filled post preparation. The core is also formed by use of PermaFlo DC. The thixotropic material does not slump. The cured core is prepared and finally polished by Jiffy Polishers.
