PermaSeal composite sealer and bonding agent is a light cured, methacrylate based, unfilled resin. PermaSeal reduces microleakage when placed on Class V composite margins.1,2 Use chairside or as a laboratory procedure to optimize the surface of resin provisionals. PermaSeal also bonds well to composite-type provisional restorations.

PermaSeal also bonds well to composite-type provisional restorations. Black Micro FX Tip ! Use PrimaDry just prior to PermaSeal placement to optimize the surface (see ‘Prevent’ section, p. 27). This is particularly helpful for the surfaces of old composite restorations. PermaSeal Correction of diastema and slight rotation with bonded Amelogen Plus restoration. After placement of the composite restoration, etch 5 seconds with Ultra-Etch, rinse, and dry. Apply PermaSeal, gently air thin and light cure for 20 seconds. Finished restoration. PermaSeal is able to penetrate and seal even the smallest microcracks and polishing defects. Sealing of a pre-existing four-year old Amelogen restoration. Clean surface with prophy paste or Consepsis Scrub (see p. 40). Etch 15 seconds with Ultra-Etch, rinse, and dry. Apply PermaSeal, air thin, and light cure. After PermaSeal treatment, the finished occlusal composite surface will continue to resist wear. Smooth the surface of provisionals. Brush PermaSeal into surfaces, gently air thin, coat with DeOx, and light cure for 20 seconds.
